Panama City 'Drudgery'

There's been a lot of action on the far end of the beach these past few weeks. Panama City proper is a port and we often see container ships coming and going. Maintaining the port to accommodate ocean going vessels is important and that's where the "Florida Drudgery" post title comes into play.


The huge machine (shown above) sucks up the sand from the bottom of the bay and sprays it onto the shore via these pipes (shown below). From there, bulldozers spread the sand around. 


It's a never ending job, but we've enjoyed watching the progress being made. Until next time, Keep smiling!
