Spending time with our daughter and son-in-law is one of our favourite things and while we normally meet in Boston this time we met in Jackson, New Hampshire home of the White Mountains. In the middle of the range is the tallest peak, Mount Washington.

Ahh! Splendid, spectacular New Hampshire.
Our home for five days is available to rent on Homeaway.com. It was perfect with a great room (dining room, kitchen and living area). We really enjoyed the ambiance of the fireplace each evening.
Days were spent exploring the scenic surroundings that included Cathedral Ledge...
Ellis Falls...
and Diana's Bath.
In the towns of Jackson and North Conway there was plenty more to see and do and shops were decked out for both fall and Hallowe'en.
