Autumn Reflections

John paddled the Cataract River which leads to Lake Duborne and then Blind River yesterday. I tagged along and it was my job to drive the van from where he began to where he'd eventually end up. It took him about 2.5 hours from start to finish. Directly across the river from where he set off is this gorgeous log home.

The day began with clear blue skies, but by early afternoon it clouded over. Forty minutes after he began the journey it rained, but Paddle Boy isn't that easily persuaded to abandon his kayak. I even met him about 1/3 of the way along to ask if he was soaking wet and wanted to quit. Silly me! Needless to say he continued on his way. I'm glad he did because if anything the inclement weather only added to his incredible photographs.

In our humble opinion nothing can compare to the rugged fall time beauty of Ontario, Canada!
