Havelock Memories

We really enjoyed our time in Havelock, and it passed by faster than we would have liked. Both John and I commented on how we weren't quite ready to leave. The setting is gorgeous, the home cozy, and the pups a joy.

We really didn't venture very far, other than Havelock and Marmora for groceries. Marmora is a small town situated on the Crowe River.

This weekend (Jan. 31-Feb.2) is Marmora's SnoFest that features dog sled races, and all sorts of winter fun. The building below caught my eye because it blended so well with the sky.

While this home has one of the most intricate roof features I've ever seen.

The views of the Crowe River changed with each passing minute and were always a treat. This early morning shot captures its beauty.

Thank you to Heather and Phil for having us to take care of your home while you ventured south, and a special thank you to Holly and Maya for making our stay so incredibly comfy...and snuggly!
