This year we did a little more walking than on previous occasions and on April 25 we walked from the port to Villefranche-sur-Mer.
We followed the coastal highway to soak in the amazing views of the Mediterranean.
We've visited Villefranche-sur-Mer a number of times and could not pass up the opportunity of savouring a cup of coffee by the sea before we took the bus back to Nice.

Another favourite place we just can't seem to get enough of is Vence, located slightly west and north of Nice. On May 3 we boarded the bus for the 40-minute journey (one way).
