Ice Rink, Ski Hill & A Cutie Patootie

It's Thanksgiving Day in the USA, but John was equally grateful because if it's Thursday in North Bay it means an entire hour devoted to adult skaters at the Pete Palangio Arena.

Talk about HEAVEN. For the first 15-minutes he had the entire rink to himself and took a photo to prove it!

Later in the afternoon he and Keegan drove up to the ski hill to check out a few hiking and walking trails. Again, more spectacular views from the top, and we plan to head back soon to do more exploring. Btw, that's Lake Nipissing in the distance.

Last, but certainly not least for today's post, is that little cutie patootie I promised. Keegan made me giggle first thing morning when he grabbed his pink monkey toy and shook the bejeezus out of it. Imagine a canine version of a whirling dervish. With white ears slapping against each side of his head and the pink monkey's arms and legs whacking in wild abandon on his neck, back and legs, I couldn't help but laugh out loud. Keegan stopped to stare, and the tilt of his head and inquisitive look on his face just made me laugh all the more. I had to take his photo, and darn if he didn't oblige.

Like I said. Cutie. Patootie!

All in all, another great day in the great white north.  Life is good!
