Sherrif Lake X2

This past week we've hiked the trails around Sherriff Lake not once, but twice. Both days were gorgeous with crystal blue skies, but cool temperatures and sometimes gusty winds. While the fall foliage is gone, the views from the rocks is still spectacular.


The trail above Sherriff Lake is lined with birch trees. (I had to take a pic for Rosella!) The lake itself can be seen in the distance beyond the trees.


The lake was calm and serene, and all ours!


The trail back is equally picturesque. From small ponds...

The route took us about an hour, and it's become one of my favorites. Even better it's just a few minutes drive from our doorstep. Ah, life in the Great White North is GOOD!
